A Respawn Card lets you refund a losing entry within 48 hours of it being graded, up to the card’s specified limit. Once used, the refunded amount will be added back to your Chalkboard wallet and can be used to place a new entry.
Note: The entry you respawn may not include a promotional pick (such as anchors, odds boosts, or cut-line discounts) or have a promo card applied. All refunded funds are subject to Chalkboard’s Play Through Policy.
Promo cards, such as payout boosts or free squares, also disqualify an entry from being eligible for a Respawn Card.
How to use a Respawn Card on Chalkboard: Step-by-Step
From the Home Page, tap the Promo Cards tab located at the top center of your screen.
In your Promo Card wallet, tap on the Respawn Card. This will open a page with more details and the option to use it on an eligible entry.
Tap "Respawn a Lost Entry". This will take you to your Cleared Entries tab, where you can choose a losing entry from the past 48 hours, up to the specified amount.
Next, once you click "Respawn a Lost Entry", you will be be taken to your Cleared Entries tab, from which you select an eligible losing entry from the last 48 hours.
Next, confirm the selection the entry you wish to Respawn.
Lastly, you can see the Respawn reflected on the entry, as well as the refund reflected in your Chalkboard wallet.
Troubleshooting Steps
If you’re unable to use your Respawn card, follow these steps to troubleshoot:
Check the entry’s loss date.
Ensure the entry lost within the past 48 hours.
Review the entry for any promos.
Look for promo picks (e.g., anchors, odds boosts) or promo cards (e.g., payout boosts).
Verify that no other promo is applied.
Only one promo can be used per entry.
Common Reasons Why a Respawn Card May Not Work
If your Respawn card isn’t working, it’s likely due to one or more of the following reasons:
The entry is older than 48 hours.
Respawn cards are only valid for entries that lost within the last 48 hours.
The entry includes a promo pick or promo card.
Examples of promo picks include anchors, odds boosts, and cut-line discounts.
Promo cards, such as payout boosts or free squares, also disqualify an entry.
The entry already has another promo applied.
Only one promo can be used per entry. If a promo is already applied, the Respawn card will not be eligible.
