What is a void?
A pick is marked VOID when a player doesn't play at all, or is injured early and protected under our in-game void policy (details below). A void removes that pick from your entry — it's graded as if the pick was never included.
When is a pick voided?
Player didn't play
Doesn't play a single second/snap, for any reason
Wasn't in the starting lineup (Baseball and Soccer only)
Game cancelled or postponed to a new day
Picks in that game are voided, depending on the sport
Board error
If a projection is a clear error (e.g., LeBron James' points line is set to 215), the pick is voided
Injury void rule: If a player is injured in the 1st half and does not return in the 2nd half, that leg will be marked VOID. (For NHL: injured in the 1st period, does not return in the 2nd or 3rd.)
"Does not return" means the player doesn't re-enter the game at all during that window — not that they returned but played limited snaps. Any re-entry, even briefly, means the leg settles as scored and is not eligible for a void.
How does a void affect my payout?
Note: Every entry must have at least 2 player selections from at least 2 different teams. If a void drops your entry below that minimum, the entire entry is voided — not just the one pick.
If your entry stays valid after the void, the voided pick is removed and the rest is graded normally: your payout is based on the combined multiplier of your remaining picks only.
If we impose a minimum entry multiplier for submission, that minimum doesn't have to be maintained after a void — only the 2 players / 2 teams requirement above does.
If a player hits their projection before leaving the game, that pick still counts as a win — it's not eligible for a void.

*NCAAF and NCAAB voids only apply when both teams are ranked in the AP Top 25 at game time. During Conference Tournaments and March Madness, NCAAB voids apply regardless of ranking.
Not covered by these rules: coaches' decisions and ejections. Those picks settle as scored — no void.
Not eligible for voids: Live Entries, and Quarter/Half-specific markets.
Voided Player in Entry - Multiplier and Payout Explained
Let’s look at a 3-man entry with the following initial setup:
Tom Brady: 1.78x multiplier
Derek Jeter: 2.32x multiplier
Shaquille O’Neal: 1.78x multiplier
Original Total Multiplier (before void):
1.78 x 2.32 x 1.78 = 7.43x
If Shaquille O’Neal's market is voided, only Tom Brady and Derek Jeter remain active in the entry.
Adjusted Total Multiplier (after void):
1.78 x 2.32 = 4.12x
New Payout Calculation:
Entry Amount: $100
New Multiplier: 4.12x
Adjusted Payout:
$100 x 4.12 = $412.00
💡 Note: Voids do not result in a loss of entry. Your payout is simply recalculated based on the remaining valid picks and their combined multipliers.
