A Walk the Line promo card boosts a player's Total Bases by adding a multiplied Walks stat on top of it. It's applied to a single leg in an entry at the time of entry creation. The boost is not a flat increase - it builds up based on how the player performs on both stats during the game.
Example: A player must record more than 2.5 Total Bases. With Walk the Line, a player’s Walks are counted with a 1x multiplier toward their Total Bases. For example, if a player hits a single (1 base) and also draws 2 walks (counted as 1 base per walk), their Total Bases would equal 3.

If a Walk The Line card is applied to Player A's Total Bases leg, you cannot also include a pick on Player A's Walks in the same entry
Example: Walk The Line on Aaron Judge Total Bases (+Walks multiplier) → cannot also have a Aaron Judge Walks pick in the same entry
Error shown: "Cannot use both Total Bases and Walks for the same player. Choose one stat per player."
This restriction applies in Social Sports Picks as well
Cannot apply a Walk The Line card to an entry that already has a promotional market (Anchors, Boosts, Free Square, or other Promo Cards)
How to use a Walk The Line card on Chalkboard: Step-By-Step
From the Home Page, tap the Promos tab located at the bottom center of your screen or select View All from your Promos carousel at the top of the page.
In your Promo Card wallet, tap on the Walk The Line Card to view details of the card, or click apply to add it to your entry. Note: You can also add the card to your slip directly on the Home Page under Promos.
Once the Walk the Line card is in live in your entry, select your lineup!
A "Walk the Line" card can contain up to 2 MORE picks for MLB Total Bases. Walks recorded by your selected player(s) will count as an extra +2 towards their Total Bases total.
Once your entry is submitted, you can see the promo attached in your Entries tab!
Troubleshooting
If your Walk The Line card isn't applying, it's likely due to one of the following:
You selected an under pick. Walk The Line is only available on over picks.
The entry has fewer than 2 picks. A minimum of 2 picks is required.
More than one leg includes the Total Bases stat. The entry must have exactly 1 leg with the Total Bases stat.
The leg already has a promo applied. Promos cannot be stacked on the same leg.
You included the same player's added stat in the entry. Remove that pick or choose a different player.
The market is live or post-game. Walk The Line is only available on pre-game markets.
