Chalkboard Pulls: How It Works

Pulls is Chalkboard's collectible card experience. Choose a pack, rip it and reveal the real physical sports card allocated to you, then decide what happens next: take an instant Buyback for 100% of the card’s current Fair Market Value (FMV), or have the card shipped to your door.

Cards in Pulls may be professionally graded and encapsulated or offered raw and ungraded. You’ll see the card’s grade or raw status when you reveal it.

Buy a Pack

Browse the storefront and pick your pack. Before you buy, you’ll see information about the pack, which may include its price, the range of available card values, featured or Signature Pulls, and the odds or probabilities for possible pulls.

Odds reflect the cards available at the time they’re shown and can change as packs are purchased. That means the odds you see for one purchase may be different the next time you check.

Pack purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by law or otherwise provided in the Chalkboard Pulls Terms of Use.

Reveal Your Card

Once your purchase is confirmed, it’s time to rip. Reveal your pack to see the specific card allocated to you.

Your card's current Fair Market Value (FMV) is displayed when it's revealed.

Decide: Buyback or Hold

After you rip and reveal your pack, you can:

Take the Buyback: Tap Sell to receive 100% of the card's FMV credited to your Wallet right away. After a Buyback is processed, that card will be removed from your Binder.

Hold it. Not ready to decide? Keep the card in your Binder during your decision window. You can come back and request a Buyback for 100% of FMV or request to have the card shipped to you.

Your Decision Window

You have two (2) consecutive 24-hour periods from when you purchase a pack to decide whether to request a Buyback or have your card shipped to you.

If you don’t make a choice before the window ends, no action is needed - we’ll automatically process a Buyback, credit your Wallet with 100% of the card’s FMV, and remove the card from your Binder.

In certain situations, your decision window may pause. This includes while identity verification is pending, while a shipping request is pending or delayed by Chalkboard, or while an issue involving a lost, damaged, or unavailable card is being resolved.

Your Binder

Think of your Binder as home base for your Pulls cards. It shows cards currently allocated to you, their details, and cards you’ve had shipped.
