What are Promo Packs?

Promo Packs are fun reward bundles that include collectible cards designed to enhance your Chalkboard experience. You’ll earn them by logging in, leveling up your XP, and staying active on the platform.

What’s inside a Promo Pack?

Each pack contains a mix of useful cards — some more rare than others. You might find:

  • Free Entry cards

  • Player or Payout Boosts

  • Stat- or League-Specific Boosts

  • Respawn (refund) cards

  • Deposit or Purchase Match offers

  • Turbo cards that enhance your slip

How do I earn Promo Packs?

You can earn Promo Packs in a few different ways:

  • New User Offer: Verified new users receive a free Promo Pack with two $10 Free Entry cards. No deposit required.

  • Daily Drop Pack: Log in daily to claim a free reward card.

  • Level Up Packs: As you earn XP and reach new levels, you’ll unlock Promo Packs with even better cards.

How does XP work?

XP is our way of rewarding you for staying engaged. It’s earned through:

  • Signing up and verifying your account

  • Placing both pre-game and live-game slips

  • Winning entries

  • Referring friends

  • Cashing out during live games

What level do I start on?

  • If you're a new user, you'll start at Level 1 with 1,000 XP

  • If you're an existing user, you’ll begin at Level 2 with 2,000 XP (based on your past activity)

Do Promo Cards expire?

Yes — each card has an expiration date listed right on it. Make sure to use your cards before they expire so you don’t miss out.

What is the Daily Drop Pack?

The Daily Drop is our way of saying thanks for showing up. Every day you log in, you'll receive a pack with one reward card. It could be anything from a free entry to a payout boost.

How do I claim my Daily Drop?

  1. Open the app

  2. Tap to claim your Daily Drop Pack

  3. Your card will be added to your wallet automatically

Note: You’ll need to manually claim it — it won’t be added unless you do.

Does the Daily Drop reset?

Yes — you’ll get a new Daily Drop every 24 hours. If you don’t claim it, the previous one will expire and be replaced by the next day’s drop.

Where do I use Deposit or Purchase Match cards?

When making a deposit or purchase in the app, simply attach an eligible card from your wallet during checkout. The bonus funds tied to that card will apply instantly.

Additional Questions

I signed up before Promo Packs launched. Do I still get them?

Yes! You’ll start at Level 2 with 2,000 XP, which means you’re already eligible to start earning Promo Packs.

Why don’t I see any Promo Packs in my account?

You may not have earned one yet. Be sure to check your XP level or see if your Daily Drop is ready. If you're still not seeing anything, try restarting the app — and feel free to contact support if it doesn't appear.

Do I need to deposit to unlock my first Promo Pack?

Nope! The New User Promo Pack is completely free once you verify your account. No deposit or purchase required.

How do I check my current XP and level?

You can find your XP and level by visiting your profile page in the app. If you don’t see it, it may be rolling out gradually — or undergoing a design update.

Do I lose XP if I lose a slip?

Not at all. You earn XP just for participating — placing entries is what counts, not whether they win or lose.

Can I earn XP from refunded or voided entries?

No — if your entry is voided, canceled, or cashed out early, any XP earned from placing it will be removed.

What happens to my XP if I cash out early?

You can still earn XP when you cash out — especially in live games. XP may be based on how the cash out was handled and the amount settled.

Can I combine multiple cards on a single entry?

At this time, only one card can be applied per entry.

Can I save up Promo Packs or do I have to open them right away?

You’re welcome to save them in your wallet and open them when you’re ready. Just be mindful of expiration dates.

Are the cards in Promo Packs random or based on my level?

They’re partially tied to your XP level — the higher your level, the better your chances of earning Rare or Epic cards. The exact system behind it is proprietary.

Can I trade or gift cards to other users?

No — cards are for your account only and can’t be transferred or gifted.

What happens if I attach a card to a slip and then cancel it?

If you cancel the slip before submitting, the card will go back to your wallet. If it was submitted and later voided or canceled due to grading, the card may not be reusable.

Can I reuse a card if I don’t submit the entry?

Yes — cards aren’t used until you actually submit the entry, so they’ll stay in your wallet if the slip isn’t placed.

Can I get more than one Daily Drop per day?

No — you’ll receive one Drop per 24-hour period. But don’t worry — you can keep earning more packs as you level up.

What happens if I log in but forget to claim the Daily Drop?

Unfortunately, it expires. Be sure to claim it manually each day so you don’t miss out.

Are Daily Drops available on weekends and holidays?

Yes! Daily Drops are available every single day, all year long.

What’s the difference between a Deposit Match and a Purchase Bonus?

  • Deposit Match applies when adding funds to your DFS balance

  • Purchase Bonus applies when buying coins for our Social Sports Picks game

You’ll see the option to attach a card during checkout — just make sure to select the right one for the right wallet.

Can I use a Deposit Match card on a second or third deposit?

Yes, as long as the terms of the card allow it. Check the details on the card for expiration or deposit limits.

Why didn’t I get bonus funds after using a Deposit Match card?

Double check that the card was attached at the time of deposit and that the deposit met the card’s terms. If everything looks good but the bonus didn’t apply, feel free to contact our support team and we’ll help out.

Note: For Social Sports Picks entries - cards are only available to be applied on entries with two or more legs.
